Exclusive: Contractor to build Make-designed tower for rental developer Essential Living
Brookfield Multiplex has won a 拢90m job to build a Make-designed tower residential tower scheme in east London.
Specialist private rental developer Essential Living this week confirmed it had appointed Brookfield Multiplex as the main contractor for the Helix development in London鈥檚 docklands.
It is understood that the job is worth 拢90m.
The twin-tower scheme comprises 395 homes, with 329 solely for private rent.
Brookfield Multiplex was selected from Essential Living鈥檚 framework of contractors -
Enabling works are set to begin later this year, with construction scheduled to start in early 2015.
Make Architects designed the original 29 and 35 storey towers, with the design adapted by Darling Associates.
EC Harris is project manager and Gleeds has been appointed cost consultant.
