This visitor centre at the Thurrock Thameside Nature Park has completed

The Cory Environmental Visitor Centre, by architect van Heyningen and Haward, was designed as an information and education resource for visitors to the park, and incorporates an observation deck for birdwatchers.

The building demonstrates low energy, sustainable design and technology, with both the centre itself and the park symbolising the regeneration and protection of the surrounding area. The contractor was Vinci Construction (formerly Haymills Construction).
