FM contract with Babcock Dyncorp will last operate for seven years.

Alfred McAlpine has signed a 拢75m facilities maintenance services contract with Babcock Dyncorp in relation to its 拢500m the Ministry of Defence Regional Prime Contract for the east of England.

Alfred McAlpine will provide FM services over a seven-year period, beginning in 2006. It is the second such deal the group has won, following on from its partnership with Babcock and Bovis Lendlease in the MoD鈥檚 south-west region.

Chief executive of Alfred McAlpine Ian Grice said: 鈥淭his contract is another example of the benefits to be gained from developing relationships with existing customers. It also confirms our expertise in the public sector. Defence is a successful market for us and this agreement comes on the heels of a 拢10.5m maintenance and repair contract at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell in Suffolk with the MoD.鈥�
