Aecom plans to double the size of its UK and Ireland operation – the firm formerly known as Faber Maunsell – within five years, according to Bill Hanway, the company’s new UK chief executive

Hanway, speaking in an interview in this week’s ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø (page 34), said he would maintain a 20% growth rate, which would lead to a doubling of turnover from its current level of £204m and staff from its level of 4,000. He added that Aecom was looking to make acquisitions in Scandinavia. Aecom has a global turnover of £3.7bn.
