Online tool will enable developers to work out viability of projects cheaply

Aecom is launching an interactive tool that will enable developers to work out the cost and viability of a hotel development anywhere in the world.

The online tool 鈥� dubbed 鈥楬INT鈥� 鈥� will be launched next week and will enable developers to calculate the potential value, cost and return on investment by entering variables including location, hotel type and revenue assumptions.

Aecom said the tool will provide clients with an 鈥渆arly check鈥� on a hotel development鈥檚 viability 鈥渨ithout having to pay for large studies too early in the process鈥�.

The tool incorporates cost data from Aecom鈥檚 UK subsidiary Davis Langdon.
