Engineer will deliver rapid infrastructure works for the energy giant worldwide
Aecom has landed a deal with energy giant Shell to provide enabling infrastructure works on its projects worldwide.
Under the framework agreement, Aecom could deliver roads, rail, airstrips, marine structures, power, telecommunications, water and sewerage systems, as well as offices, warehouses and workforce accommodation.
The deal will see Aecom work closely with Shell鈥檚 oil and gas contractors to rapidly deliver infrastructure works.
Michael Burke, chairman and chief exeuctive of Aecom, said: 鈥淭his is the exciting next stage in the evolution of our relationship with Shell.鈥
Aecom has won a string of major deals in recent months, including Scape鈥檚 拢350m consultancy framework in joint venture with Pick Everard and Gleeds.
Aecom is the world鈥檚 largest global design firm, according to Engineering News Record, and posted $18bn of revenue in 2015.
