First image released of ride at theme park on Aldar Properties' 拢39m Yas Island development
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has released the first image its roller coaster racing car. The attraction, on Aldar Properties鈥� 拢39bn Yas Island development, will feature two competing roller coaster carriages which will zoom along twisting parallel tracks in a race to the finish line. Each vehicle is a replica of a Ferrari F430 Spider. The theme park will have 20 attractions, including two 1,050m racing tracks, on which riders will experience multiple overtaking manoeuvres and speeds ranging from 70km/h to 95km/h. Ferrari World鈥檚 architect is Benoy and the contractor is Belgium's Besix, which has formed a joint venture with Aldar to work on the project, due for final completion sometime this year.
