Design by Make includes a 50m high LED shroud
Developers London and Bath Estates and Galliard Homes have received permission to build the 鈥極ctopus鈥� building at Chiswick Roundabout in London, costing over 拢25m.
The design by architects Make includes a 50m tall LED shroud that will show advertising and public art.
The building will comprise 5,000m2 of office space, with a retail section at ground level and a roof-top garden.
Kim Gottlieb, managing director at London and Bath Estates said: 鈥淲hen one of the councillors said 鈥榠t鈥檚 bold, it鈥檚 brash, it鈥檚 in your face鈥� I thought thank goodness someone鈥檚 got it. This is meant to be a 24 hour, modern, vibrant, top three world capital city. Let鈥檚 give it the architecture it deserves.鈥�
