This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by F茅licie Krikler, director at Assael Architecture. She says: 鈥淗aving opened an office in Bahrain in 2018, we are working on a number of different commissions of varying scales. This sketch relates to the remodelling of an incomplete house into a new family home, facing the Persian Gulf and its blue waters. Our initial concept illustrated here brings together the contrast of traditional Bahraini influences and the sharp shadows of a contemporary structure.鈥�
