Faithful + Gould
Judges agreed that in an extremely strong category, Faithful+Gould was the stand-out, strongest finalist and 鈥渁n excellent example to others鈥. The firm has demonstrated steady financials in the UK, backed up with an extremely strong overseas performance. The group has expanded into new regions such as the Middle East, France and Germany and opened a Paris office in December 2011. It has also made sure it is well placed to make the most of new markets but moving into emerging sectors including nuclear and petrochemicals. The icing on the cake was a partnership with EDF on their nuclear build programme. Faithful+Gould also demonstrates a commitment to sustainability. Donald Lawson, the firm鈥檚 chief executive, said that successful relationships with clients were one of the most important aspects of running a good business - highlighting the fact that 70% of the group鈥檚 current business is repeat. Judges said this was one of the key contributors to Faithful+Gould鈥檚 success before adding that the company鈥檚 strong financials gave the firm even more of on edge.
