Work set to start later this summer
Willmott Dixon has nabbed a 拢20m contract to deliver 147 homes in Manchester.
The company鈥檚 residential arm will deliver the project, which will makeover a nine acre site on Simonsway, Wythenshawe.
The site is adjacent to the Manchester Enterprise Academy where Willmott Dixon built the Drury 黑洞社区 in 2017 to provide more space at the academy.
Designed by architect AEW, these new homes will include a mixed tenure of 80 shared ownership, 29 outright sales and 38 rent to buy apartments.
Construction is set to start in July, with the development providing a mix of two- and three-bedroom houses, alongside two-bedroom apartments.
The contract win follows the recent completion of Willmott Dixon鈥檚 mixed-use development in Old Trafford.
It includes a community centre, cafe, pharmacy, health care facilities and 80 extra-care apartments.
