Nathan Astley to join housebuilder’s business in the North-west
Vistry has appointed a former executive at collapsed fit-out firm Styles & Wood as its new commercial director for the North-west.
Nathan Astley (pictured) will join Vistry’s regional office in Warrington. He has over 35 years of experience working in the industry.
He takes up the role following a two-year stint as pre-construction and aftercare director at real estate firm Create Construction.
Before that he spent nearly six years as commercial executive at Styles & Wood, the Manchester fit-out contractor which collapsed in February last year just two years after being taken private in a £42.5m deal.
Vistry - which was formed at the start of 2020 from a merger between Bovis Homes and Galliford Try’s housing arm - announced this week that it was delaying publication of its full-year results for 2020 because of the impact of the lockdown on the availability of auditors to verify the figures.
The firm had been due to publish its report today, but has now said the results will be published next Thursday instead.
