German cladding giant Schneider has secured 拢30m of UK orders in the past year, ending a two-year order drought.

Four of the wins - worth 拢25m - have come in the last six months, including a contract to clad the fourth phase of the Crown Estate鈥檚 revamp of London鈥檚 Regent Street, known as W4.

The contractor is capitalising on a resurgence in demand for timber facades, with three of the four wins this year for multimillion-pound complex timber facades.

Graham Cox, Schneider鈥檚 UK managing director, put the revival down to a UK management restructure last year and said the firm was looking to target another 拢15m-20m of orders by the end of the year.
