Confirmed 2008 events include piano concert by architect Rafael Vinoly at the Royal Albert Hall

Architects are being asked to submit ideas for exhibitions, installations, talks, walks, cycle rides, events and parties for next year鈥檚 London Festival of Architecture.

Organisers of the event, which takes place between 20 June and 20 July, are looking for projects that show 鈥渇resh thinking, fresh ideas, fresh talent, fresh collaborations and fresh cultures鈥 within the context of London鈥檚 built environment.

The festival, formerly the London Architecture Biennale, will be located in five 鈥渉ubs鈥 around the city. Kensington and Chelsea, Bloomsbury and Covent Garden, the South Bank, City and Clerkenwell and Canary Wharf will each host a weekend event.

Activities will include debates on the Olympic Games in east London and open air events on Riverside Walk.

Architect Rafael Vinoly, who is also a pianist, is expected to perform at a Pecha Kucha prom in the Royal Albert Hall.

Proposals should be submitted at www.lfa2008.org by 30 November and must include a title, dates, venue, short description and details of how the project will be funded. A registration fee of 拢500 will be charged to cover support and promotion.
