Islington scheme has 拢17m price tag

Kier has won a 拢17m scheme to build a new mental health facility in north London.

The job for Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust will be built on Lowther Road in Islington.

The four-storey building has been designed by Ryder with other consultants working on the scheme including QS McBain鈥檚, structural engineer WSP and M&E engineer Capita.

The new space will provide interview, counselling and treatment rooms, as well as a caf茅 and group collaboration zones. There will also be a 鈥榩ocket鈥 park to support visitor and staff wellbeing.

Kier, which is due to unveil its annual results in the middle of next month, was last week confirmed as winner of a 拢65m scheme to build the main works package on the Oxford railway station scheme for Network Rail.
