Contractor sets up north of the border after taking over three Rok contracts including 拢9m Dundee housing scheme

ISG has set up a new Scotland office after securing 拢30m of contract wins from stricken contractor Rok.

Work will recommence on stalled Rok projects, including an 拢86m packaging plant and 拢9m cooperage project for drinks giant Diageo.

ISG will also replace Rok on a 拢6.7m housing development in Dundee for Home Scotland.

The Glasgow-based team will be headed up by senior members from Rok鈥檚 former Scottish business.

Craig Tatton, ISG鈥檚 UK construction managing director, said: 鈥淔ormalising our presence within the Scottish market has been a long-held business objective and I am delighted that we have been able to achieve this goal.

鈥淭here is strong conviction that ISG can establish itself as a major player within Scotland鈥檚 construction and fit out market.鈥
