Consultant Gleeds has appointed Richard Pope as associate director for its Bristol office. Pope will work with the company’s litigation support team to provide dispute resolution consultancy and brings his own specialism in the area of quantum expert witness services.
Pope joins Gleeds from Davis Langdon where he was a partner for over five years. He has over 10 years experience as a QS expert witness, having worked on a wide variety of projects including Avon and Somerset Police HQ complex. A direct appointee of the client, Bruges Tozer Partnership, Pope acted as project co-ordinator providing liaison between the design team and members of the police authority.
White Young Green has appointed David Wood regional managing director. He will be based at the firm’s Teesside and Newcastle offices and will handle managerial and financial responsibility for the north east region.
Wood joins WYG after 31 years working for Halcrow Group. He is currently Teesside branch chairman of the Institution of Civil , vice chairman of the Construction Industry Committee, and is a board member of Constructing Excellence in the North East.
Paul Davies will lead Faithful + Gould’s Exeter office. He brings to his new position 20 years of experience in the field of property development, regeneration and construction. Davies became chartered in Bristol in the early 1990’s and has since spent many years working on large scale property and regeneration projects across the UK. This experience has included working in a variety of senior management positions for a FTSE 100, a property developer and for the last five years for Faithful+Gould.
