Contractor will build facilities including library and community building over 10 years in south-east Scotland
Galliford Try has been named as the preferred private sector partner on a 拢300m project to build community facilities in south-east Scotland.
The facilities will be built over the next 10 years by the Space consortium, which also includes Davis Langdon and Fulcrum Infrastructure Group.
The first part of the project will be a 拢5.7m library and community building in west Edinburgh that will get underway later this year.
Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive of Galliford Try, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to build on our experience of major public sector partnering schemes through this key role with the South East hub Territory Board in Scotland.
鈥淲e look forward to working closely with all our partners and communities to develop high quality facilities which will modernise the provision of local services,鈥 he added.
