Wolverhamtpon contractor reports growth on the back of two lucrative contracts
Elmondstone Construction, a Wolverhampton-based contractor, has reported record growth this year as it expects turnover to exceed 拢36m.
The company has landed a number of lucrative contracts over the last year including a 拢1.2m construct and internal fit-out contract for a pub chain and a 拢2.1m residential development for David Poyner Homes.
Elmondstone has seen its turnover rise from 拢4.6m back in 2002 to an estimated 拢36m by the end of this year.
Phil Taylor, head of business development, said: 鈥淲e are going to virtually double the size of the business in just twelve months. It seems like an overnight success story, but the reality is that Elmondstone has been built on a solid core of repeat business since it was formed in 2002. The management team has over 60 years鈥 combined experience in construction and, over the years, we have been building a strong customer base that has put us in a position to compete on a level playing field with the 鈥榖ig boys鈥 in our sector.鈥
