UK pair deported after jail sentence for indecent behaviour replaced by 拢200 fine
The British couple convicted of having sex on a Dubai beach have been freed after winning an appeal.
Michelle Palmer and Vince Acors were allowed to return to the UK after their three-month prison sentence for offending public decency was suspended.

An appeal court in Dubai fined the pair 1,000 dirham (拢200) and deported them, according to Acors' solicitor in London.
Palmer and Acors were arrested on 5 July for indecent behaviour on Jumeirah Beach after meeting at a champagne brunch in a five-star hotel.
Their case has raised awareness of strict public decency rules in a country that has become a major hotspot for UK construction workers and holidaymakers.
More than 230 Britons were arrested for drunkenness in the region last year.
