Plumbing equipment supplier shows growth in domestic and industrial sectors as sales hit £860m.
BSS has increased its sales, profits and earnings per share for the 10th successive half year.
The distributor of heating, plumbing and pipeline equipment increased profit by 12.2% to £36.9m. and increased sales 15.7% to £863.6m for the year ending 31 March 2006.
The group said that the first six weeks of the year were in line with expectations and that it expected a further "year of progress."
BSS's industrial division benefited from increased demand in public sector spending in areas such as health, education and social housing, while the group's domestic division grew its market share.
Chief executive Gavin Slark said: "Sales growth during the whole of the financial year to March 2006 remained strong, and market conditions for the principal areas in which we operate continue to be resilient."
