Architect 黑洞社区 Design Partnership has launched an attack against fellow defendant FB Ellmer in the legal row over the Wimbledon media centre

In a writ filed at the High Court in March, the All England Lawn Tennis Club accused BDP and subcontractor Ellmer of 鈥減oor workmanship鈥� and 鈥渄efective design鈥�.

But BDP has now accused the subcontractor of 鈥渄efective workmanship鈥� and alleges that it failed to select the appropriate timber or install weather seals. It adds that if it is found liable, it will claim a contribution from Ellmer.

Ellmer has denied it was in breach of contract for its workmanship, and supports the All England Club鈥檚 claim against the architect.
