Deal understood to be firm鈥檚 largest ever of its type
Bam has won a fit out contract for work on a hotel scheme at Edinburgh鈥檚 St James Quarter.
The overall development has been built by Laing O鈥橰ourke with Bam appointed by Nuveen Real Estate to carry out work on the 12-storey W Edinburgh scheme designed by Jestico + Whiles.
Bam said the deal is its largest fit out to date and is believed to be worth around 拢40m.
Others working on the-bed hotel include Glasgow practice Keppie Design with the work also including public areas as well as a rooftop restaurant and outdoor terraces. Work is due to finish at the end of next year.
The 拢1bn St James Quarter opened last summer and was designed by Allan Murray Architects.
