One St Peter鈥檚 Square to include galleries, cafe and offices over 275,000 sq ft
BAM Construction, Carillion 黑洞社区 and Kier Regional have been shortlisted by a JV of developer Argent and the Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund (GMPVF) to build a new 275,000 sq ft mixed-use office, retail and cultural space in central Manchester.
The three companies will compete to build One St Peter鈥檚 Square Manchester city centre project, which is set to include galleries and a cafe. The estimated build value is 拢50-60m.
Development manager, James Nicholson, said: 鈥淲e are very pleased to be making this announcement because it will enable us to commence the next stage of the development at One St Peter鈥檚 Square. If we are successful in securing a pre-let, we could be on site by the end of the year.鈥
The building will take three years from commencement to construct.
The team at One St Peter鈥檚 Square includes Glenn Howells Architects, building services consultant Hoare Lea, employer鈥檚 agent Faithful and Gould, structural engineers Tier and planning consultant GVA.
GVA and Savills are joint agents for the scheme.
