UCAS report finds architecture undergraduate applications rocket to 24,000
Architecture continues to attract undergraduates despite the economic recession, according to the latest UCAS figures.
The organisation鈥檚 figures last month show a 6.7% rise in prospective undergraduate applications to study architecture compared to the same month last year.
The 90s saw a similar jump when architecture schools were full despite the gloomy economic climate.
David Gloster, RIBA director of education, said: "Architecture education has always had a life of its own."
