Oaklands Court, a high-density £7.4m social housing scheme in White City, west London, opens this week.
The development, which has 45 mainly family dwellings, has a density of 656 habitable rooms per hectare. Developer Catalyst Housing Group and Monahan Blythen Architects helped achieve this density by providing a communal rooftop garden and cutting car parking to 10 spaces. It was built by Rydon Construction with Dobson White Boulcott as cost consultant and client’s representative and Upton McGougan as structural and services engineer.
