In residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, social value is everywhere these days.

From increasingly high-tech green designs, to new schools, community centres and public spaces, it seems that every other project which gets planning approval includes a social value element.

And with covid-19 wreaking havoc on communities and businesses, there is a growing consensus that the construction industry must, in the government鈥檚 words, 鈥榖uild back better鈥�.

We want to know how often firms bid for jobs with social value as an element, what outcomes they hope to achieve and how they see social value evolving in the post-covid industry.
