Troubled electrical contractor adds new board member and boosts the regions with new directors
T Clarke has made five promotions including the addition of a new board member.
Mike Crowder joins the board of the electrical contractor as an executive director from 1 January 2007. He has been at T Clarke for 21 years.
The company has also made changes to aid the development of its regional businesses. Barry DeFalco becomes managing director for the UK regions while Mark Lawrence is appointed managing director for London operations and Paul Brown and Jim Bryan have been appointed as divisional directors.
T Clarke will be hoping the changes improve its performance. Earlier this month it issued a profit warning due to delays to two major projects and an Inland Revenue investigation into one of its subsidiaries which will cost £400,000. In November it revealed it had made up to 40 redundancies.
Speaking about the promotions, Pat Stanborough, chief executive commented: "These changes will enable us to achieve growth in our core operations and it is expected that further promotions will be made in 2007."
