Consultant continues West Midlands expansion with purchase of Davidson Partnership and Cook Denning Management
Construction and property consultancy Ridge has announced the acquisition of two Birmingham-based businesses: the Davidson Partnership and subsidiary Cook Denning Management.
The Davidson Partnership, a quantity surveying and practice, is recognised as one of the UK’s leading pharmaceutical consultancies. Cook Denning Management, established in 1994, is the health and safety division of the Davidson Group and offers planning supervision and other health and safety services.
Under the deal, Ridge will retain all of the current management team of the companies. The move is part of Ridge’s continuing expansion into the West Midlands.
Phil Jones, Ridge senior partner, said: "This acquisition is a significant step forward in the ongoing growth of Ridge. The Davidson Partnership is a successful, dynamic firm; its acquisition will help to extend Ridge's presence in the West Midlands. It is a good fit both geographically and in terms of complementing our skill set and disciplines. We shall continue the good work for all our existing clients, whilst growing the business and creating more opportunities within team Ridge."
