Marley Eternit has published a 20-page guide to its fibre cement cladding products, including Natura Pro, Natura Plus, Textura, Pictura
and Operal. The guide details various fixing systems and how the products have been used on different building types The guide also compares the embodied energy of cladding materials.

Member companies of the British Precast Concrete Federation have voted unanimously to join the Mineral Products Association. The two organisations said the move created a larger body for the sector that could promote its members’ interests more effectively.

The Parkside Group, which includes Comar Architectual Systems,
Alu-Timber, Axim and Duco, has been awarded the ISO 14001 environmental standard by BSI. This indicates that organisations have an effective environmental management system. The Parkside Group says environmental certification is becoming an increasingly important global issue.

Bowater ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Products has launched a new division called Bowater Architectural, covering its System10 range of aluminium windows and curtain walling systems. It will support UK and Ireland specifiers with a design and drawing service plus advice and guidance. It will also offer CPD programmes.

Brickmaker Ibstock has put its Portfolio reference guide online. Now in its sixth edition, the guide can be downloaded whole or by section.
