UK Green 黑洞社区 Council chief executive promises "radical thinking on sustainability" at May event

UK Green 黑洞社区 Council (UK-GBC) chief executive Paul King is to chair the Think 08 conference in May.

King is one of a string of high profile environmental and business names that will appear at the event this year, which will run with an exhibition on the 7th and 8th of May at ExCel, East London.

The event, which this year will focus on sustainability and regeneration, has already confirmed Manchester City Council chief executive Sir Howard Bernstein as a plenary speaker.

Seminars

The UKGBC is also teaming up with Think to hold two special seminars in the run-up to the conference. The Think Tanks will lead the the construction and property industry's involvement with the Prince of Wales' May Day climate change initiative with Business in the Community.

King will head the two special Think Tank seminars, the first of which will address the financial barriers to tackling climate change in the built environment.
