Framework is part of an 拢149m investment over five years

Housing association First Choice Homes Oldham has appointed contractors including Mitie, Lovell, Kier and Vinci to a new 拢90m framework.

The agreement is part of a 拢149m investment designed to improve First Choice Homes Oldham鈥檚 (FCHO) properties over the next five years.

FCHO鈥檚 chief executive Cath Green confirmed the contracts last week and pledged that local people will benefit from the multi-million pound investment. 鈥淭his is about more than just bricks and mortar,鈥� she said. 鈥淛ust as important are our contractors鈥� commitments to creating new apprenticeship schemes. We are working with local employment and training organisations to make sure that local people get those opportunities.鈥�
