Scottish contractor reports 拢5.3m in pre-tax profit and a 20% increase in turnover

Scottish contractor Ogilvie Group has posted a 21% rise in pre-tax profit for the year ending June 2006.

The Stirling-based group generated a pre-tax profit of 拢5.3m on a 20% increase turnover to 拢176m.

Construction and housebuilding contributed 拢105m, vehicle contract hire delivered 拢68m while IT security and telecommunications produced 拢1.6m.

Duncan Ogilvie, chief executive, said: 鈥淭his has been another successful year for the company where once again we have seen growth and increased profitability across all operating divisions.
