Construction consultant NBA Quantum has posted a 40% rise in pre-tax profit to £690,000 for the year ending 30 June.
The results follow the company's £36,000 increase in half-year profit.

NBA Quantum said its growth was partly the result of US expansion. Earlier this year, the company bought Washington-based construction consultant DMS International for £1.3m.

NBA Quantum has appointed a Hong Kong-based, non-executive director to help focus on expansion in East Asia. Peter Walder, who is non-executive director of several construction firms, including Hong Kong-based Paul Y Construction and Paul Y Tunnel Engineering, began work on 1 December.

NBA Quantum's annual turnover was £2.7m – up 12% on the previous 12 months.
