Support services firm Mouchel Parkman has exchanged contracts to acquire consultant Hornagold & Hills for about 拢11m.

The move is one of three deals totalling almost 拢50m announced last week by Mouchel Parkman. The firm also announced the acquisitions of utilities specialist Ewan Group for 拢11m and highways technology provider Traffic Support, for 拢26m.

Richard Cuthbert, chief executive of Mouchel Parkman, said: 鈥淲e are delighted to announced these three acquisitions, which complement our existing positions in highways, water and management consulting.鈥�

Hornagold & Hills generated a pre-tax profit of 拢700,000 for the year ended 31 October 2005, on a turnover of 拢13.1m. Ewan reported a pre-tax profit of 拢940,000 and TSL 拢1.2m.
