Chartered surveyor snaps up London QS in a deal worth over 拢250,000

South-east based chartered surveyor Millbridge Group has snapped up London quantity surveyor LG Consult in a deal estimated to be worth more than 拢250,000.

LG Consult had a turnover of about 拢750,000 last year and specialises in insurance valuation and settlements, commercial fit-out and dispute resolution.

Mike Nicholson, Millbridge鈥檚 chair, said: 鈥淭he deal gives us an in-house QS for the first time. It enables us to open up a new market as well as improve our services to clients.鈥�

Nicholson added that he expected the company鈥檚 turnover of QS work to 鈥渁t least double鈥� following the acquisition.

Prior to the deal, Millbridge outsourced work to LG Consult, among other QS firms.

Nicholson added: 鈥淲e see this as an excellent addition to the current services we provide. This supplements our project management and building surveying teams.鈥�
