Stephen Pycroft, the chief executive of Mace, has said the consultant will have a “healthy” 2008 despite the market downturn.
Announcing results for the year ended 31 December 2007, Pycroft said: “At the present time, the reduced availability of credit has not had a significant impact on our clients.”
Mace, which is working on the £350m Shard development by London Bridge, posted a 46% rise in pre-tax profit from £7.4m to £10.8m.
Turnover was up by 43% from £374.1m to £546.5m.
The highest paid director’s remuneration was slashed by 59% from £1.8m in 2006 to £734,000.
