Cooper Lighting and Safety has supplied RXDI LED downlights to illuminate communal areas in a number of independent living schemes run by Wakefield and District Housing.
The organisation is undergoing a major improvement programme and specified LED lighting because it saves energy and requires minimal maintenance.
Cooper Lighting and Safety says the light has a power consumption of 25W and achieves an efficiency of up to 61 lumens per circuit watt - beating the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Regulations requirement of 45 lumens per circuit watt for residential lighting (part L1) along with the higher requirement of 55 lumens per circuit watt for commercial lighting (part L2).
