How the scheme will look when finished

Called West Bar Square, L&G has teamed up with developer Urbo which has formed a joint venture for the work with Peveril Securities, Bowmer & Kirkland鈥檚 development business.

L&G chief executive Nigel Wilson said: 鈥淭here has never been a more important time to invest in our regional cities. Legal & General is in a unique position to support the UK economic recovery by recycling hard earned savings and pensions into real assets which promote job creation through construction to office occupation.鈥

Designed by 5plus architects, the scheme was granted outline planning in 2017. A reserved matters application is scheduled to be submitted to the city council this summer.
