Chris Sly joins as housebuilding arm鈥檚 new finance director
Legal & General Homes has poached Chris Sly from Berkeley Homes to become the firm鈥檚 new finance director.
Sly (pictured) had been at Berkeley Group for more than nine years, first as head of finance at the firm鈥檚 St James operation, then holding the same position at Berkeley Homes.
L&G has also appointed Matthew Stubblefield as its new health and safety officer. Stubblefield has 16 years鈥� experience in construction health and safety management and joins from Croudace Homes Group, where he was group head of health and safety.
James Lidgate, L&G Homes鈥� chief executive, said the newcomers were 鈥渆xcellent additions to the company and join at an exciting time for Legal & General Homes as we build thousands of new homes and our schemes come to life across Berkshire and Oxfordshire鈥�.
L&G is ramping up its housing development activity and plans to build more than 80,000 units by 2028.
