Restricted access piling firm has annual sales of 拢17m

Ground engineering giant Keller has acquired Systems Geotechnique, a specialist contractor in drilling and grouting, for 拢7m plus 拢1.5m assumed debt.

Systems Geotechnique employs 100 workers and boasts annual sales of approximately 拢17m providing restricted access piling services. It was founded in 1999, and has bases in Lancashire and Hampshire.

Commenting on the acquisition, Keller chief executive Justin Atkinson said: 鈥淪ystems Geotechnique brings considerable strength in terms of its people, equipment, design and construct know-how and customer relationships. In return, [Keller] offers strong financing, systems and controls, which will enable this growing business to continue to develop.鈥

The move follows Keller鈥檚 purchase last year of Phi, a specialist contractor in slope and excavation retaining wall systems.
