Facility set to start in summer 2019
Bradford district council has chosen ISG to build a new £17.5m leisure centre.
The contractor is set to deliver the new Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Facility, which is part of a council investment programme to replace outdated and inefficient leisure facilities across the city.
The centre will include a 25m swimming pool, eight-court sports hall, gym, dance studios and cafe as well as outdoor pitches for football and rugby.
The two-storey building will also include a 12m learner pool with a moveable floor.
Set on the Sedbergh Playing Fields site, the 55,660sq ft building is scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
Other leisure schemes the firm is working on include a £6.1m scheme in Monmouth, south Wales. The deal for Alliance Leisure at the town’s leisure centre will open in two phases this coming summer and next winter.
