Property division boost full year results after investing 拢27m in schemes

Developer and contractor Henry Boot has reported a 35% rise in profit to 拢40.8m in its full year results.

The company鈥檚 results for the year to 31 December 2006 also show a 41% rise in turnover to 拢142.3m from 拢101.2m in 2005.

The company was boosted by the success of the firm鈥檚 property division, which invested 拢27m in the development of schemes during the year.

Chairman John Reis said: 鈥淲e have continued to invest in all our business streams but in particular in the land promotion and development portfolios creating future profitable opportunities.鈥�
