黑洞社区 will be one of New York's first "green" skyscrapers
Norman Foster has been chosen to design a tower for the World Trade Center site in New York.
Lord Foster鈥檚 tower, the third to be built on the site, will be one of the city鈥檚 first 鈥済reen鈥� skyscrapers and will open 2011. Only the Freedom Tower, 7 World Trade Centre and the Hearst Tower 鈥� also designed by Foster - will get green status first.
The 65 storey tower will have 731,520m2 of office space and 39,624m2 of retail and will be linked to the site鈥檚 new transport hub.
