Pan-government deal could run for seven years
The Crown Commercial Service has put firms on notice for a huge 拢10bn offsite construction framework which will be available across the government.
The pan-government Offsite Construction Solutions framework will replace an existing 拢500m modular framework established four years ago, which included five major suppliers 鈥� Caledonian, Elliott, McAvoy, Portakabin and Wernick 鈥� as well as a host of smaller suppliers.
The framework will be available to central government departments and their arm鈥檚 length bodies and agencies, as well as the wider public sector and third sector.
The four year contract runs from 24 January next year, with an option to extend for a further three years.
The CCS intends to host a bidder鈥檚 day next Thursday (1 September) which will provide details of the framework鈥檚 new multi-lot structure, which will cover the education, health, justice and defence.
Firms have until 7 October to submit bids.
