A month after it won architecture鈥檚 highest accolade, the RIBA Stirling prize, the Evelyn Grace Academy in Brixton is still making headlines.
The 拢36.5m Zaha Hadid-designed school鈥檚 victory produced a backlash in the architecture profession that has now been condemned by its project architect.
Lars Teichmann told 黑洞社区 that many of the critics had never visited the academy and admitted that the level of 鈥渂itterness鈥� produced by its triumph had surprised him even more than beating the Olympic velodrome to the Stirling.
