The troubled 拢1.5bn Elephant & Castle regeneration scheme in south London is to be hit by a second high-profile departure.

Paul Evans, Southwark council鈥檚 director of regeneration, will retire at the end of October. Evans鈥� departure follows the surprise resignation last week of Chris Horn, the council鈥檚 long-serving project development director.
