Contractors Costain and Laing O'Rourke have won three deals as part of the health Procure 21 framework agreement.
Costain been awarded two contracts – a £21m deal to build an accident and emergency and maternity extension at Ormskirk and District General Hospital in Lancashire and a £11m diagnostic and treatment centre at the Goodhope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
Laing O'Rourke has been awarded a £14m contract to build an integrated clinical and educational centre at the North Staffordshire hospital near Stoke, its first deal under Procure 21.
NHS Estates' other Procure 21 partners in north-west England and the West Midlands are Interserve, Pearce and Norwest Holst.
Hampshire council has advertised for contractors to pitch for a £300m Procure 21-style framework.
