Construction and property consultant DBK Back says it has won £100m of work since a management buyout in August.
The Birmingham company has been appointed as cost consultant by housebuilder Redrow on a £30m scheme in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The scheme has 343 apartments.
It has also won an office project in Manchester, an industrial scheme in Bilston, West Midlands, and it has been appointed quantity surveyor by warehouse developer Prologis on a £40m scheme at Dartford, Kent. The scheme is the first phase of the wider Dartford Park project.
Last year the company had a £5m turnover, which it hopes to increase one-third in the next 18 months.
The buyout was led by Tim Downing, the managing director, and Duncan Berry and Steve Kelly, who were both directors. Fifteen members of the management team have a stake in the company.
Willmott Dixon Construction has won more than £60m in healthcare work this year under the LIFT programme following financial close on three schemes in south-east London worth £28m.
The contracts come after ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Better Health, the name of the Willmott Dixon arm, reached agreement with three primary care trusts in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham to create a LIFT company to upgrade and enhance the trusts’ community healthcare facilities.
