Countryside Properties is the highest ranking construction company in the top 250 mid-market private firms, followed by Lagan Group and Farview New Homes

Construction firms feature heavily in a list of the top 250 mid-market private firms which appeared in this weekend鈥檚 Sunday Times.

Property developer Countryside Properties was the highest-ranking company at number seven with sales of 拢358.9m followed by civil Lagan Group at 27 thanks to 拢300.8m sales and housebuilder Farview New Homes at 41 with sales of 拢281.8m.

Other housebuilders in the list include Linden Homes (45, 拢279.9m), Stewart Milne (111, 拢216.7m), Higgins Group (143, 191.3m) and Morris Group (176, 拢172.6m).

Contractors who feature in the list are Mace (54, 拢270.9m), RG Carter (80, 拢235.9m), Midas Group (88, 拢230.7m), Osborne (99, 拢224.5m), Seddon Group (115, 拢212.1m), David McLean Holdings (122, 拢206.7m), Simons Group (128, 拢203.7m), Headcrown (134, 拢196.4m), Dean & Dyball (155, 拢拢184.7m), McNicholas Construction (172, 拢173.7m), Mclaughlin & Harvey (203, 拢160.6m), Robertson Group (209, 拢159m), The Apollo Group (213, 拢157.7m), Ardmore Construction (225, 拢150.7m), McNicholas plc (227, 拢149.3m) and Ogilvie Group (231, 拢147.4m).
